What's new

Export Contacts Index

This release introduces the ability for Barclays Super Admin and Admin users to export a report of law firm contacts from the contact index. For better reporting purposes, the export will match the search criteria, filters and sorting options applied to the index.

View full tender before creating a proposal

Previously it was not clear for newer users that a response to a Tender may require answering predefined questions or providing cost proposals and assumptions for each element of the scope of the Tender. To address this, a full view of the entire Tender is now visible by expanding the Tender Brief on the Tender Overview page.

This will include:

  • the Tender Brief

  • Attachments

  • Scope of Work

  • Additional Questions that need to be answered by your team

External Manager Notifications for new tenders or direct instructions

When a firm has been invited to a new tender or direct instruction, previously only invited participants would be notified of the same. To help a firm’s relationship team maintain visibility over all new instructions received and actively manage them, External Manager users will now be notified of any new tender or direct instruction their firm is invited to through email notifications and on LegalEye.

Notifications for changes made to a tender or direct instruction

After tender or direct instruction invitations have been sent out, the instructing team may want to revise the details of their request (such as adding or removing attachments, revising the brief or refining the scope of the request). To ensure your team is creating their proposals based on the latest revision of a tender or direct Instruction, email notifications will now be sent to all invited participants to the tender when a change is made.

Acknowledge of receipt notifications

Previously tender and instruction owners and collaborators had to rely on conflict checks being completed in order to know for certain if a firm was aware that a tender or direct instruction had been sent to them. In v35.1, firms will now be able to acknowledge the receipt of the invitation by clicking on the link provided to them in the invitation email. When a law firm acknowledges a direct instruction or tender, owners and collaborators for the tender or direct instruction will now receive a notification giving them more visibility into which firms have acknowledged their invitation, and which firms have not.

What's Changed

Contact Index - Removal of Lawyer/ Contacts tab

With this release, all LegalEye users will benefit from an updated contact directory that eliminates the need to switch between the contact and lawyer tabs. Instead, users can now access both type of profiles when viewing the contact index.

To further enhance clarity, the terminology for "Contact" profiles has been changed to "Non-Lawyers."

Finally, the introduction of user-type filters and columns for "Lawyers" and “Non-Lawyers” ensures that relevant information is displayed accordingly.

Single page proposal creation

Prior to v35.1, users were required to complete their proposals by navigating between different tabs making it difficult to draft each section of the proposal whilst maintaining a view of the proposal as a whole. In order to improve the proposal creation experience we have removed the need to navigate through each step of the proposal. Users will now be able to create and update their proposals in a single page experience.

What's been fixed

Past events will no longer show in the upcoming events section

Past events are now correctly displayed, and no longer appear under the “Upcoming Events” section on the law firm events page.

RFP ID changed to Tender ID

With this release, we have updated the tender templates and tender overview copies to display 'Tender' instead of 'RFP'.
