Managing Template Status

R
Written by Raphael Cardona

To ensure that the relevant stakeholders are aware that your template is ready for company-wide use, you can select whether a template is still in progress, i.e., “Drafting” or completed, i.e., “Published”.

Note: If you had previously saved your template as a “Draft” during the template creation process, your template will be in “Drafting” status. As such, you will not be able to use that template to create a tender or a direct instruction from the template’s preview page. Similarly, the template will not be shown in the pop-up modal that appears when clicking on “Create a Tender” or “Create a Direct Instruction” in the Tenders or Direct Instructions Index. For more information, see the following guides:

  • Creating a Direct Instruction with a Template

  • Creating a Tender with a Template

Step 1: Access the Manage Template page

You can view your template status at the top of your template preview page. To edit your template status, start by clicking on “Manage Template”. This will redirect you to the manage template page, where you will be able to see and edit the current template status.

Step 2: Change your Template’s status

Click on the current template’s status and select the relevant status you wish to update it to. The template’s preview page will now display the template’s updated status.
