Adding Key Dates to your Tender Template

Written by Raphael Cardona

Tender Templates allow you to add all the relevant key dates related to your Tender, such as the expression of interest and submission deadlines. This helps you manage and communicate timelines effectively and also reduces the time spent on setting up similar individual dates for each Tender. Invited law firms will be able to plan their resources and schedules, leading to more accurate and reliable proposals.

Step 1: Access your Template’s key dates

Once you have added the relevant questions to your tender template, click on “Proceed” to access the key dates.

Step 2: Add an Event to your Tender Template

Start by typing the event’s title and click on “Add description” to add more details about the event being created. You can then press “Enter” or click the “Add to key dates” button.

Note: At this stage, you will only be able to add a key date’s title and description. You can input the start and end dates key when conducting a formal Tender created from a Template.

Step 3: Enter additional Key Dates

Click on “Add new key date” and repeat the process until you have added all the necessary key dates to your tender template.

Step 4: Edit an existing Key Date

To edit an existing key date’s title, click on the relevant event, and click on the event’s title. To edit an existing key date’s description, click on “Update description”. Once you have made the necessary changes to a key date, title or descirption, click on “Save Changes”. The key date will be immediately updated to reflect your edit.

Step 5: Delete an existing Key Date

To delete an existing key date, hover over the relevant’s key date title in the key dates list and click on the red bin icon that appears. You will then be presented with a confirmation popup. Click on “Delete key date” to confirm your choice, and remove the relevant key date from your template.
