Adding Attachments to your Tender Template

Written by Raphael Cardona

Attachments can be added to tender templates, allowing you to preset what documents should be included in each type of tender. For example, this can be tender guidelines, score cards or policies you’d like to share with firms invited to the tender.

Step 1: Access the tender template’s Attachments

Once you have entered your tender template’s brief, click on “Proceed” to access the attachments section.

Step 2: Add documents to your Tender Template

Click on the uploading interface and select the file you wish to attach to your Template. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop the file in the uploading interface.

Step 3: Receive confirmation of upload

Once your file has been successfully uploaded, a pop-up confirmation will appear on your screen.

Step 4: Select your documents’ permission level.

Documents in a tender can be viewed either before conflict checks have passed, or after conflict checks have passed. A document which can be viewed before a conflict check has passed will have a label saying “file unlocked” and documents which can be viewed after conflict checks have passed will have a label saying “file unlocked”. By default, all files are locked, and not viewable until after conflict checks have passed. To change the permissions on a document you can click on the “select permissions” button on your file, and select the desired permission for the document.

Note: When this tender template is used, these files will be added to the tender with the permissions set by the template creator. These permissions can be changed when used in a tender by the tender owners or collaborators.

Step 5: Remove an attachment from your tender template

If you need to delete a document from your tender template, click on the “Remove” icon.
