Awarding a Tender Proposal

Written by Raphael Cardona

In LegalEye, you can efficiently award a tender proposal, ensuring a centralised communication flow, whilst reducing the margin for errors or oversight in the decision-making process.

There are two ways in which you award a tender proposal:

  • From the Proposals tab (see Viewing Submitted Tender Proposals), or

  • From a single proposal’s page (see Navigating a Law Firm Proposal)

In both cases, an email notification will be sent to the relevant law firm user/s.

Step 1: Access the tender

Open the relevant tender from the Tenders index (see guide) and click on the proposals tab. You can also click on the link found in the email notification received when the proposal was submitted.

Step 2: Award a proposal from the Proposal’s tab

Select the law firm you wish to award the tender by clicking on the checkbox on the left of the law firm’s logo. This will prompt the appearance of a blue ribbon. Click on “Award”.

You will be redirected to a confirmation page, where you will be able to see the proposal’s key details, including its summary, bid amount and timeframe. To award the proposal, click on “Award (law firm name)”. Alternatively, click on “Cancel”.

Step 4: Award a proposal when viewing a proposal

To award a tender proposal when viewing a proposal, click on “Award firm”. This will instantly award the tender to the relevant law firm and the proposal’s status will be updated to “Awarded Proposal”.
