When managing a tender, you need to be able to easily understand the proposals submitted by invited law firms. LegalEye allows you to efficiently navigate a law firm’s proposal, by covering the key information presented to you after opening a tender proposal.
There are several actions you can undertake when viewing a proposal. As such, you will be able to
Download the proposal (see Downloading a Tender Proposal)
Request for the proposal’s resubmission (see Requesting a Proposal Resubmission)
Award the tender to the law firm (see Awarding a Tender Proposal)
Decline the tender proposal (see Declining a Tender Proposal).
Step 1: Access the tender proposal
Open the relevant tender from the Tenders Index (see guide) and click on the proposals tab. You can also click on the link found in the email notification received when the proposal was submitted. Then click on the “Proposals” widget.
Step 2: Access a proposal
In LegalEye, there are two ways you can access a proposal. The first way is by navigating to the tender’s Proposal tab and clicking on the “View proposal” button next to the relevant proposal. (see Viewing Submitted Tender Proposals). Alternatively, you can access a proposal through the proposal comparison page, by clicking on “Read Proposal”. (see Comparing Tender Proposals).
Step 2: Navigate the Proposal Overview
After opening a tender proposal, you will first see the Proposal Overview page. This includes the proposal’s summary and all the sections included in your firm’s tender.
Step 3: Navigate the right-hand panel
On the right side of your proposal, you will see key information relating to the proposal and to the law firm that submitted the proposal. This includes the
Proposal Bid Amount,
Estimated Days of Completion,
Law Firm Rating, and
Law Firm Information.
Step 4: Download the documents attached to the proposal
You can view all the documents attached to a proposal by clicking on “Attachments” at the top of your proposal. You will be redirected to the proposal’s attachments section, where you can download any document by clicking on the document.
Note: If no documents have been attached to the proposal, the “Attachments” section will be empty with the following message: “No Attachments added to this Proposal”.
