When faced with the task of turning down a Direct Instruction proposal on our platform, this guide simplifies the process for you.
Step 1: Access the proposal
To access a proposal, navigate to the Direct Instruction Index and search for the relevant direct instruction see (Searching for a Direct Instruction) . Once you have done so, click on the “Proposal” tab. Alternatively, access the law firm’s proposal by clicking on the link found in the email notification received at the date the proposal was submitted.
Step 2: Decline a proposal
Once you have accessed the proposal you wish to decline, click on “Reject Proposal” at the top of the proposal. This will instantly decline the law firm’s proposal. A pop-up email interface will also be displayed on your screen, allowing you to write a personal email to the declined law firm. The proposal’s status will be updated to “Declined Proposal”.
