Adding a Request for Quote to your Direct Instruction

R
Written by Raphael Cardona

A “Request for Quote” is an optional attribute to any direct instruction. Direct instructions that do not require a request for quote are instructions where there is no need to approve a firm’s proposed quote for an instruction. Where a quote is required, and where a proposed quote needs to be agreed and can be negotiated, the “Request for Quote” attribute should be applied to the Direct Instruction.

When a Direct Instruction requires a “Request for Quote” the end user has the ability to also define a “Scope of Work” to be priced out. See the Adding Scope of Work to your Direct Instruction guide to find out more.
