LegalEye streamlines the tender proposal creation process for law firms, ensuring clarity, consistency, and precision. You will be able to create, summarise, save, and review your proposal before submission. This increases the chances of crafting compelling proposals that stand out, ultimately boosting your firm's prospects of winning the tender.
Step 1: Open the tender
To access a proposal, navigate to the Tenders Index and search for the relevant tender (see Searching and Filter your Tenders). Once you have done so, click on the “Proposal” tab. Alternatively, access the law firm’s proposal by clicking on the link found in the email notification received at the date the proposal was submitted (see Receiving a Tender Invitation).
Step 2: Create your Tender Proposal
Upon accessing the relevant tender, you will be redirected to the Proposal Brief tab (see Navigating a Tender) where you will then have two options to create your proposal. You can either click on “Create Proposal” at the top right corner of your proposal or click on “+ Create proposal” at the bottom of your Proposal Status.
Step 3: Enter the Proposal’s Summary
Once you have clicked on “Create proposal”, you will be redirected to the first step of the Tender proposal creation process, entering your proposal’s summary. As part of your tender proposal, you will have to fill in a summary that communicates your proposal’s key details. You can use a diverse range of formatting options, allowing you to add hyperlinks, images and tables to provide a comprehensive and visually appealing overview. Click on “Proceed” to navigate to the next section.
Step 4: Input additional information
Follow the step wizard to add all the necessary details to your tender proposal including a scope of work, additional questions, and key dates.
For more information on how to fill these sections, please see the following Guides:

Step 5: Save your Tender Proposal
After you have entered your proposal summary, you can save your tender proposals at any point by clicking the “Save as Draft” button on the bottom left corner of your screen (see Saving and Updating your Tender Proposal).
Step 6: Review and send your Tender Proposal
The review page displays all of the Tender Proposal’s information in one consolidated view, allowing you, as the proposal creator, to perform a final comprehensive quality check before finalisation. This holistic review enables you to catch any issues early and verify accuracy and completeness to ensure a higher-quality proposal. The review page will only display the sections you have filled. For example, if you did not include a Scope of Work, then the Scope of Work section will not be shown on the review page.
If needed, you can edit any of the previously entered information by clicking on “Edit” on the right-hand side of a section. This will redirect you to the relevant step of the proposal creation process.
Step 7: Send your Tender Proposal
Once you have reviewed your Proposal, click on “Submit Proposal” to send your proposal.
