The Direct Instructions index feature allows you to easily search, filter, and sort the Direct Instructions you have been invited to. This allows you to find what you need quickly and efficiently without browsing through all your Direct Instructions.

Step 1: Search a Direct Instruction

You can use the search bar to quickly find keywords or phrases across Direct Instructions when searching for a specific Direct Instruction

Step 2: Filter your Direct Instructions

To narrow your search, you can use the following filters:

  • Jurisdiction(s),

  • Practice Area(s),

  • Tags.

The filters have dropdown menus to select the criteria you want to filter by. You can also type the name of the specific jurisdiction, practice area, or tag into the search field. The relevant matching options will then appear for quicker selection.

When using filters simultaneously, the Direct Instruction Index will surface all the Direct Instructions that match all of the filter conditions.

Step 3: Sorting your Direct Instructions

To suit different search needs, you can also sort the Direct Instructions Index by

  • Alphabetical order,

  • Most recently added direct instruction,

  • Oldest added direct instruction, and

  • Most recently updated direct instruction.

To sort Direct Instructions, click on the “Sort” icon situated directly under the search tool, before selecting the relevant sorting criterium.
