Submitting a secondee candidate

The secondment feature on LegalEye allows Barclays to advertise secondment opportunities to their panel law firms. It works similar to an online job board, key details about the secondment opportunity will also be displayed on LegalEye.

Propose a secondee candidate

  1. Click on Secondments in the left navigation menu

  2. You can filter the secondment index using the criteria present on the left (e.g. "Practice Area")

  3. Click on the title of a Secondment opportunity you are interested in.

  4. Click Add candidate

  5. You can either choose a lawyer who already has a LegalEye profile or Add a new lawyer to the platform

To propose a candidate who already has a profile on LegalEye, follow these steps:

  1. Click on a Lawyer profile

  2. Select your preferred funding route

  3. Add the Overall cost

  4. Select Finish

To add a new lawyer to the platform (Law Firm Manager functionality), follow these steps:

  1. Click on Create lawyer profile in the bottom left of the popup

  2. Add the lawyer's details, including email address and select

  3. Upload the lawyer's CV and select Create

  4. Select your preferred funding route

  5. Add the Overall cost

  6. Select Finish
