Written by Raphael Cardona

Promoting your law firm events on LegalEye makes it easy for Barclays lawyers to attend and build stronger relationships with you. It also provides them with a searchable knowledge base of law firm content if you upload your presentation materials.

Creating an Event

Overview

To create an event, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the drop-down arrow on the top right of your screen and then select Firm Profile

  2. Click on the three-dots menu and select the Events tab

  3. Click on the +Create button

  4. Start creating your event

Formatting

You can start writing the event description or copy and paste it from another source. LegalEye has a standard set of formatting features, including the ability to insert tables, images and hyperlinks.

Adding a cover photo

Your events are previewed in the Barclays Knowledge Base - so it is important to add an eye-catching cover photo. Click on Upload a cover photo and select the relevant image from your desktop.

We recommend using high-quality images with dimensions of 1600 x 320 pixels and the maximum file size is 5 MB.

Adding details

Use the Event details located on the right side of your screen to add more information about your event. You can:

  1. Select the Event Type - Online or In-Person. Depending on your selection you will see either a Location or Video Conferencing Link field.

  2. Add a start date/time and end date/time (if relevant)

  3. Depending on the event type selected you will see either a Location or Video Conferencing Link field.

  4. Add tags so that your event can be easily found by the Barclays team when searching the knowledge base.

Finish Later

Click on the Finish later button on the top right to set the event as draft which makes it only visible to your law firm until it is published. You can also publish a drafted event by clicking on Publish at any time. Additionally, you can also set the current published event back to draft by clicking on the Set as draft button.

Save and Edit

Click on Save Event in the top right to add the event to your law firm profile. The event will also be published on the Barclays Knowledge Base.

If you need to update any event details you can click the Edit button on the event page after it has been published.
