Managing user permissions

Make sure LegalEye users have the right permissions on the platform

To manage user permission:

  1. Go to the Contact tab on LegalEye and click on a specific contact

  2. Click Manage

  3. Click a new role for this users.

Roles & Permissions

Super Administrators

Super administrators are users who have access to all data in the environment. They will be able to see all matters, all users in the system and they will have the ability to make updates to any user data

Administrators

Administrators are users who are able to create, update and remove data that relates to a user or profile but they DO NOT have access to all data. Administrators do not have access to unpublished articles and events.

Members

Members are users who will only need to maintain their own data. It is very rare that a member will have the ability to update or remove data that relates to a different user but these limitations will be described in each individual feature section.

Secondees

Secondees have the same access as Barclays members except they will be prevented from accessing confidential information from other firms, such as:

  • Law firm rate cards

  • Law firm feedbacks

  • Law firm relationship account summary

External (Law Firm Users)

External users only have access to Instructions they're invited to and all of their law firms data. However, external user can only maintain their own data.

External Manager/ Law Firm Manager

Different from a regular external user, a Law Firm Manager has the ability to manage their law firm profile and lawyer profile within the law firms.
