What's new

Document Permissions

This release introduces the ability to assign permissions for documents uploaded to LegalEye. You now have more control over who can access documents uploaded to your law firm profile, enabling you to confidently manage sensitive or internal-facing materials within LegalEye. When uploading a document, you’ll be prompted to assign access levels (Viewer, Collaborator, or Owner) to the appropriate individuals or groups.

You can:

  • Grant access to all Barclays users (as a group)

  • Grant access to all members of the firm (as a group)

  • Grant access to specific individuals within the firm

  • Withhold access entirely, ensuring that selected users or groups are unable to view or edit the document

Once uploaded, document owners and collaborators can view and update permissions at any time by selecting “Edit Permissions” from the document’s three-dot menu.

This added flexibility helps ensure confidentiality, reduce back-and-forth, and streamline collaboration.

Updated Relationship Team Role

Managing and viewing relationship team roles is now more intuitive across the platform:

  • Edit relationship team roles from the Law Firm Profile
If you're a law firm profile Owner or Collaborator, you can now edit the roles assigned to contacts on the relationship team for your firm. You can add one or more existing roles, or remove roles to keep contact roles accurate and up to date.

  • Filter contacts by relationship team role
Any relationship team roles assigned to contacts are now visible on the Contacts Index through a new column, and the ability to filter and search for contacts based on one or more assigned roles.

See what’s changed in tenders and DIs

Staying on top of updates to tenders and DIs is now much easier. Whether you're drafting a proposal or viewing a tender or DI that has been updated since you last accessed it, a notification will appear prompting you to review the changes. You’ll see a summary of the updated sections (such as Scope of Work, Information, Attachments, or Key Dates), along with clear indicators of what was added, removed, or modified.
